This stunning 1972 Corvette Coupe looks fantastic with its new paint, and has many factory options as well. Assembled on March 13, 1972, the paint on this car is very recent, showing a very nice shine. Both the front and rear bumpers have been recently rechromed as well, and are in very good to excellent condition. All weatherstripping with the exception of the hood seal has been recently replaced, and is in excellent condition. Other than the passenger window, all glass in this car shows a correct date code. Taillights on this car are in excellent condition, looking to be recent and not showing any cracking. This car wears rally wheels, which are in very good condition, wearing spinners and new trim rings. Tires are raised white letter radials, and show 10/32nds of tread remaining. Emblems on this car are brand new as well. Original exterior door handles show a fair condition finish, and seem to function well with no sagging on the return springs. The interior of this car shows recent non-OEM style seat covers in very good condition, and new correct loop style carpet. Steering wheel and gauges are in good condition; center console and door panels are in very good condition. A 1975-77 speedometer is currently installed. Dash pad is in fair condition; storage bins and frames are in excellent condition. A Clarion DB155 CD stereo has replaced the original AM/FM radio. The engine in this 1972 Corvette shows casting date March 1, 1972, and assembly date March 3, 1972. A pair of chrome valve covers have been added, along with a Holley carburetor, and braided hoses. Both exhaust manifolds show correct and legible casting numbers, as well as the intake manifold. Headlight actuators appear to be recent; a/c compressor is missing. This car features a solid, rust-free frame, and includes with several invoices and receipts for recent work. Coming with desirable options and a very nice paint job, this one probably won't last -- call us now! It's not common to find a car with this much original documentation -- judging by the paperwork that we have, it is safe to say that this car has only had one actual owner! We have repair records dating back to 1972, as well as the original title application, protect-o-plate, owner's manual, brochure, registration records from 1971-96, and a very rare letter postmarked 1971 from Chevrolet to the owner documenting how to store your Vette, presumably while away in Vietnam. Assembled on March 7, 1970, this Corvette has had many thousands of dollars invested, and is ready to show or drive. Paint on this car is very nice, looking to be very recent, and showing a brilliant shine. Convertible top is newer as well, with no obvious flaws and a clear window. Chrome bumpers appear to be newer reproductions, and are in very good condition. Weatherstripping is newer and in very good condition; taillights look to be older, but are in good condition nonetheless with no cracking. Exterior door handles look to be newer reproductions in very good condition, although the passenger side does have a slightly lazy return spring. This car wears rally wheels in very good condition, with very good condition trim rings and center caps. Tires are reproduction Firestone Wide Oval raised white letter bias-ply, and show 10/32nds tread remaining. This car is available with what is quite possibly its ORIGINAL matching vinyl-covered auxiliary hardtop, judging by the November 1969 date code on the glass. This matching hardtop can be had for an additional $1,500. Keep in mind that only 832 cars come from the factory with vinyl-covered hardtops in 1970, and we have a photo dated 1971 showing the hardtop on the car, so chances are this is one of those 832 cars ordered with the option! All other glass on this car with the exception of the windshield shows a correct date code. The interior of this 1970 Corvette Convertible shows excellent condition leather seat covers, excellent condition door panels and gauges, and very good condition loop carpet, steering wheel, dash pad, and center console. Original AM/FM stereo is in place as well. The original engine in this car shows casting date February 11, 1970, and final assembly date February 25, 1970. Correct intake is in place, as well as a Quadrajet carburetor that would be correct for a 1973 Corvette with the standard 350 and automatic transmission. This engine compartment has been very nicely detailed, and features ignition shielding, as well as correct hoses and clamps. Frame, is clean, solid, and rust-free as well. 1967 Corvette LS7 454 Guldstrand/Super Chevy Project Car Stock #2109 Yellow exterior with Black stinger, code correct Black vinyl interior. 500hp 454ci LS7 GM crate engine, 4 speed manual transmission. If documentation is king, then this car is a god among Corvettes -- this beastly big block was a Super Chevy project car in 1991, with the installation of nearly all of its go-fast parts documented in several issues of the magazine. The original intention of this project car was to build a classic style Corvette for the 90s -- this included a big block engine with reduced compression ratio to run better on pump gas, and a thorough rethinking of the original suspension. In addition, all of the work that is documented in the magazine is also documented with invoices from Dick Guldstrand, one of the best known Corvette tuners in the world!! This car was treated to a body-off restoration (documented in Super Chevy), with many upgrades to the engine and suspension. Originally assembled on March 14, 1967, this Corvette shows paint that is typical of an older paint job, showing little wear other than a few stress cracks in the typical areas. This paint still shines very well, and is sure to turn heads. This was originally a Rally Red car, unlike many other yellow cars that started out as much less desirable colors such as White or Green. Bumpers were rechromed through Guldstrand in 1991, and are beginning to show some patina. All glass shows correct date codes with the exception of the windshield and the passenger side vent window. Original exterior door handles show a good finish, and function well. Taillights are very nice, with only one showing some hairline cracking. Weatherstripping may be original, and is showing signs of age. This car wears bolt-on aluminum wheels, which are in good condition with fair condition center caps. Tires are vintage Goodyear Eagle VR60, and were installed for one of the Super Chevy writeups. These tires show 8/32nds tread remaining in the front, and 6/32nds tread remaining in the rear. The interior of this 1967 Corvette looks to be very much original, including the steering wheel, door panels, and seat covers. All of these items are in fair to good condition, with no rips or tears in the seat covers. Dash pads are in good shape with no cracks, and the center console is in good condition as well. Gauges show no fading, although the lenses are slightly cloudy. Oddly enough, the second hand on the clock is functional, although the other two hands are not. Correct GM seatbelts are in place as well, and the correct loop style carpet is in fair to good condition, showing some light fraying around the edges and minor fading. A Custom Auto Sound cassette stereo has replaced the original AM/FM radio in the car, with no modifications to the dash. A Hurst shifter has been installed in favor of the original shifter. The 454ci LS7 crate engine in this car shows a K118 casting date, which we believe to correspond to November 18, 1988. Super Chevy documents this engine as having been in need of a rebuild when it was purchased by them to install in the car, which would make sense with it being a few years old at that point and probably used in a high performance application. This engine was completely rebuilt for the magazine, with the compression ratio reduced to 9.25:1 for drivability reasons. A Crane True Roller timing chain was also installed, along with a Crane 214/222 110 LSA camshaft, Speed-Pro main and rod bearings, ARP bolts, new valve springs, McLeod dual disc clutch and aluminum flywheel, Weiand Team-G dual plane intake, Trans-Dapt chrome valve covers, Ultra Flow head porting, Holley 8156 750 cfm carburetor, Flowmaster mufflers, and Hooker coated Super Comp longtube headers. Suspension work (completed by Guldstrand) includes C3 spindles, a-arm bushings, swaybar bushings and links, modified coil springs, and Monroe Formula GP shocks. A new rear leaf spring was also installed, along with new trailing arm bushings. The rear sway bar was removed at that time, as recommended by Guldstrand. Brake work included rebuilt calipers and steel braided brake lines, and an SSBC big block power steering kit was also installed. All of these items are documented by the Super Chevy issues, which will come with the car, along with tens of thousands of dollars worth of invoices from Dick Guldstrand. Body and paintwork is also documented in the magazine. Sidepipes are in place, although Super Chevy installed exhaust out the back as well, which is currently hooked up in favor. Rearend has been rebuilt and blueprinted, documented by Dick Guldstrand. This is your chance to own a very unique Corvette and a piece of history -- don't less this opportunity pass you by! This car wears a set of correct width rally wheels, which are in good condition, showing an older finish, with fair condition center caps and trim rings. Tires are radial wide whitewalls, with 8/32nds tread remaining. The interior of this 1967 Corvette Convertible shows very good condition dash pads, seat covers, and center console. The rim on the original steering wheel has been painted a copper metallic color that might be mistaken for wood tone at first glance, and is showing some typical cracking on the rim. Door panels show some bubbles and waves, but are otherwise in good condition. The gauge lenses in this car look to be almost new, as they are just about crystal clear. The clock is working on this car as well, and the original AM/FM radio is still in place. Older loop carpet is a little rough around the edges, but does not appear to have any major fading or wear-through. The original engine in this 1967 Corvette shows casting date January 26, 1967, and final assembly date February 3, 1967. This engine features a rare vintage Edelbrock C3B intake, a remanufactured Holley carburetor, and 350hp style finned aluminum valve covers with the "Corvette" script. Ignition shielding is in place, as is an alternator that would have been correct for a 1967 Corvette with factory air conditioning. Frame on this car is clean, rust-free and solid!
